Allez

Privacy policy

Your data stays on your phone.

In force from 16 September 2026. Applies to the Allez app for iOS and Android.

The short version. Allez does not collect personal data. It has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Everything you create in the app is stored on your device and nowhere else. The only outside services it talks to are the app store you bought it from, to handle the Pro purchase, and RevenueCat, to confirm that purchase.

Who is responsible

Allez is made by João Manuel Gomes, an independent developer in Zurich, Switzerland. For any question about this policy or your data, write to support@getallez.app.

What the app stores on your device

The app keeps the following on your device only:

None of this leaves your device through the app. Your phone's own backup, iCloud Backup or Google backup, may include it, and that backup is under your control in your device settings. Deleting the app deletes all of it. Inside the app, Settings offers Clear history and Reset all settings.

The Pro purchase

Pro is a one-time purchase made through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Your payment details are handled by Apple or Google and never reach the app or us.

To confirm and restore the purchase, the app uses a service called RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier that the app generates on your device, together with the purchase receipt from the store. It does not receive your name, your email address or anything else about you. RevenueCat's own policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy. Apple's is at apple.com/legal/privacy and Google's at policies.google.com/privacy.

Voice cues

The spoken cues use the speech engine that is already on your device. The words are produced on the device, in the voice you choose. The app never records audio and never uses the microphone.

Permissions

On Android the app asks to show notifications the first time you start a workout. The notification shows the running interval and keeps the workout alive while the screen is locked. That is its only purpose.

The app does not ask for your location, your contacts, your photos, your camera or your microphone, on either platform.

Network

Allez works fully offline. The only connections it makes are to Apple or Google when you buy or restore Pro, and to RevenueCat to confirm it. When you open a link from the app, such as this page or the store listing, it opens in your browser, and the site you land on has its own policy.

If you write to us

The Send feedback button in Settings opens your mail app with a message to support@getallez.app. It fills in the app version and your operating system version, so you do not have to look them up. You can delete those lines before you send. We use your message only to answer you and to fix the problem you report, and we keep it only as long as that takes.

Crash and diagnostic data

Allez has no crash-reporting service of its own. Apple and Google may share anonymised crash reports with developers, and only if you allowed that in your device settings. Their policies, linked above, describe it.

Children

Allez is rated for all ages. Because it collects no personal data, it collects none from children either.

Your rights

Swiss data protection law and, for users in the European Union, the GDPR give you rights over personal data that an organisation holds about you. We hold none. The data the app stores is on your device and under your control, as described above. If you believe we hold anything about you, or you have any concern, write to support@getallez.app and we will answer.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects your data, for example if a future version adds optional anonymous usage statistics, we will update this page, change the date at the top, and say so in the release notes of that version. Any such feature will come with a setting to turn it off.
